Each year seems to be our busiest and best yet - from 55 weddings, to filming documentaries and commercials, to photographing growing families .. we are filled with so many special memories. The View at Bluemont Fall Wedding
Ryan and I had our final wedding of 2025 at the beautiful View at Bluemont! A perfect couple, iconic view, and all around a great way to end this amazing wedding season. Congratulations to Kira and Nolan!
Halloween Wedding at Raspberry Plain
Olivia and Alex made it easy saying yes to working a holiday. Plus our kids were spoiled more from trick-or-treating with their grandparents than they would’ve been with us!
Olivia knocked it out of the park planning a tasteful Halloween wedding. From the decor to the song choices to the desserts..everything was tasteful, elegant, and still celebratory of such a fun holiday.
This was the windiest wedding we’ve done in our ten years of work. It was a LOT on everyone, but just look at the dramatic veil portraits we got from it! They are some of our favorite shots from the day.
Congrats to this awesome couple, and fellow JMU alumni. We had the absolute best time.
River View at Occoquan Wedding
Thursday's wedding couple was so kind, radiant, and in love. Loved ones from across the world (Indonesia and the Philippines) came to celebrate with them. It was a beautiful Fall day. Perhaps one of the most meaningful moments we witnessed was when Gabby & Alfredo acknowledged their parents during the ceremony (pictured). This is something we have seen at quite a few weddings...and the tears/hugs/unspoken words almost automatically translate to tears throughout the entire audience.
Great Marsh Estate Wedding
Let it be known that Hayley booked the gorgeous Great Marsh Estate before it was on Love is BlindSaturday’s wedding POURED, but the skies unexpectedly opened up in time to have an outdoor ceremony (Hayley's biggest wish). This awesome couple placed their trust in us in making some game-time decisions to keep everyone dry throughout the day, on schedule, all while providing bright & cheery photos. We had the best time..congrats to these two!
Newborn Session
Our family and newborn sessions are ramping up, now that it’s September! The weather has been gorgeous for both indoor and outdoor family sessions of all kinds. Welcome, baby Indie and thank you for being such a calm, precious subject during our shoot!
Goodstone Inn Outdoor Wedding
A intimate poolside wedding in Virginia's horse country (Goodstone Inn, Middleburg), where the temperatures remained in the 70s most of the day, with a light breeze and full sun. What more could you ask for? It's crazy to say that our "Fall" i.e. second half of our 2025 wedding season has begun! Our talented team was busy this past weekend capturing several weddings and events, helping us kickstart what will be a fantastic season. Congratulations to Jennifer and Thomas! Don't they look like movie stars?
Epic Wedding at Shadow Creek
Friday's wedding had SO many fun moments, which no doubt made our job so fun. It was also a plus that the insane DC heat wave ended the day before this celebration! Congratulations to Rachel and Sam!

Being one of the longest days of the year, we weren’t surprised this wedding was one of the hottest as well! Roger & Ben were a joy to work with, and it was great being back at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg VA. Congratulations to this awesome couple!

National Cathedral Engagement
It’s been years since I’ve been here so it was so nice to return to the Washington National Cathedral, on SUCH a beautiful May morning with this couple! Katie and Jabob are getting married next year at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna, and it was great getting to know them. I had a fun time with them exploring the vast grounds and taking some pretty magical photos for them to have as a forever keepsake.
Arlington Tent Wedding
Congrats to Madison, Pat, and BRADY!! Saturday could not have been better weather, and it's always so fun to explore new venues (Henry House, Arlington). Besides Madison (bride), and Brady (dog), we think the florals stole the show with those bold, Spring colors that caught everyone's eye.

Spring Wedding at Army Navy Club DC
There is nothing like Spring in DC. These two lucked out with warm weather, clear skies, and full blooms around the city! It was such a great weekend celebrating them - from the rehearsal dinner at the Hay Adams Hotel, to the wedding at Army Navy. Our team had three weddings on Saturday and they all went so well. Can’t wait to share more, and we’re so excited for all of our 2025 weddings!
Warmer Weather = Family Sessions
I feel like everyone is done with Winter 2025 and ready for Spring! This has meant our family sessions have really been picking up with people eager to get outside and capture fleeting phases of their lives. Did you know that we offer mini sessions such as this one pictured on most weekdays? These sessions last for 20-30 minutes and offer a $200 discount off of our regular session price. They are a no-brainer if you have little ones with limited attention spans :)

Snowy Engagement Session at Jefferson Memorial
Our coldest engagement session yet so starting off the session indoors at a coffee shop was a great idea! And on the plus side, there was not another soul out there at the Jefferson Memorial with us, and their husky sure was happy.
Snowy January Wedding
Megan and Andrew’s wedding was quintessentially January - frigid, snowy, and magical! They helped us kick off 2025 in the best way. Although the unexpected snowstorm presented some challenges, we convinced them that the outdoor photos would be SO worth it. They thanked us so enthusiastically later in the day, letting us know how grateful they were that we gave them that nudge to go outside!! Just look at the magical snow photos we got - all during their first look. A moment they will never forget now. Happy New Year, everyone. We are so excited for 2025!
