Great Marsh Estate did not disappoint! And we look forward to returning to this very same venue in a year for this couple's wedding! We have been so thankful for some dry, sunny, mild weather these past couple weeks after all the constant rain.

Another successful 3-wedding weekend for our company with some awesome, now happily-married couples!! It was great being back at Belmont Country Club on Saturday. And how cool is it that Nate (groom) surprised his bride with dozens and dozens of her students at the ceremony?? It was the sweetest moment.

We have been here quite a bit this year and it NEVER gets old! Congratulations to Emily and Cam who we must say are one good lookin couple. Our talented team captured three weddings this past weekend and everything was a success. We are so proud of all of them!
Maternity Session for Past Wedding Couple
Feels like forever ago that we did video for Kristen and Will’s wedding (in 2020!). Now here we are doing photos this time, during this next exciting chapter for them. We went to Meadowlark gardens for the session, a location we are super familiar with but love how it offers different backdrops each and every time we go. The temps and humidity were nice and low, and crowds non-existent thanks to it being the day after Labor Day!
Stone Tower Wedding
Kate & Karl’s day started off with a good amount of rain! But as always we improvised and found some amazing covered areas to take portraits and those photos as you can see turned out just as dreamy as the sunset photos later on in the day when the sun came out! This was such an awesome day with a talented group of vendors, and Kate and Karl were effortless to work with. It’s always a plus when couples bring their cute dogs, too!

DC Wharf Engagement
The Wharf was such a fun change of pace..fun, different, quieter, with serene water views. Highly recommend coming here for sunrise. We barely saw a soul! These two get married next weekend so it’s proof that it’s never too late to schedule engagement photos.

Lovettsville Rainy Wedding
These two had the best attitudes for a wedding with NO break in rain for 7 straight hours, especially because the day never called for rain originally! We are in love with all of the indoor barn shots though, and so happy with Gena & Trey’s easygoing attitude and trust in us to make gametime decisions all day long. Such a beautiful couple inside and out, and a super fun group of friends and family beside them. Cheers to these newlyweds!!!
DC Sunrise
Just have to share some favorites from this week’s sunrise session in DC! There is a good amount of construction going on at the Lincoln Memorial but we worked around it, and ventured to the War Memorial and Tidal Basin afterwards as well! It was a bright, glowy morning and these two were SO photogenic. Can’t wait for their 2025 wedding!

It is always great to be back working at Stone Tower. The views are breathtaking and it really is one of the nicest venues in the entire Northern Virginia area. We had such a pleasure working with Alysha and Jared and were relieved that all this recent rain has finally tapered off for a bit. Congratulations to these two!

The second I met these guys for their engagement session I knew it would be a good time. They were one of the most effortless, natural, couples we’ve had and we barely had to direct them in posing! You can truly see their easygoing nature reflected in these photos.
