Rachel, Blake, and DUKE! What a sweet dog. We all had such a great time walking around Morven Park in Leesburg on a perfect evening last week. Rachel and Blake are getting married in Bluemont later this year and we are looking forward to doing Photo + Video for their big day.

Rainy May Wedding
Let’s be honest, Saturday’s weather was brutal! It was frigid, very windy, and rain spat down every minute we were there. But we always tell our brides not to worry too much - because look how magical the photos still turn out! And we love a good excuse to break out the adorable clear umbrellas. This was our first time finally working at The Barn at Willowbrook and it did not disappoint! It’s a family-owned and operated venue in Loudoun county’s wine country and it was perfect in every way. Congratulations to this amazing couple - Sydney and Andrew. The rain didn’t dampen their spirits one bit, and we loved working with them!!
Spring Wedding at Raspberry Plain
We’ve been working with Ginny & Pete since 2019, thanks to Covid! After multiple postponements over the course of two years, they finally got to celebrate with their friends and family this weekend and it was epic from start to finish. The weather was perfect, tears were shed, and everyone danced the night away. We had such a great time!
Spring Engagement Session
I had a great time with Katie and Mark last week at Eleanor Lawrence Park. We rescheduled the original shoot due to cold and rain and I’m so glad we did! The backup date turned out to be such perfect weather and lighting. They were effortless to work with and we’re looking forward to their big day one year from now at Raspberry Plain Manor!
The Start of the 2022 Wedding Season
Erin and Dan kicked off our 2022 wedding season perfectly. Just one month after having our baby, we are back at it, and thankfully these two made this transition SO easy and fun. It was a little chilly but the rain held off and Meadowlark had some stunning blossoms all around!
Our Own Baby!
We are so happy to announce the birth of our sweet Charlie Joseph Corey. He was born last week, March 13 2022 and we are happy, healthy, and so blessed.
Baby Scarlet
I had a great time catching up with our friends and meeting their new baby girl! I’m a huge dog person, especially shepherds, hence why so many of these photos feature their two dogs. They had a very sweet, protective interest in this little one.
2021 Recap Video
2021 was a crazy busy year! It was so fun going through a small percentage of the weddings our company did last year and creating this. We witnessed so many special moments. Cheers to many more great weddings in 2022.
Snowy Maternity Session
Happy new year, everyone! We have started the year off with several great shoots already, including this incredibly frigid but magical maternity session in Old Town. It’s been quite a “wintery” winter, with lots of cold and precipitation. So we bumped the shoot earlier in the day to avoid too much snow, and the timing was perfect. We got dreamy snowflakes in many of the photos while still being able to safely drive home. Marissa and Michael are a 2021 wedding couple of ours and she is also due in March like me! I loved her white dress for the winter shoot.
Korean Wedding
Susie and Jimmy have been amazing to work with! We loved their Korean wedding yesterday and all the traditions that came with it. It was held on a perfect, crisp Fall day with 60 guests at one of our go-to venues: Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. It’s hard to believe our 2021 wedding season is winding down!
DC Sunrise Engagement Session
Nothing better than crisp, sunny Fall mornings! We had a great time with Erin and Matt doing their engagement session at the War Memorial and Reflecting Pool areas of DC. Instead of going to the Lincoln per usual, we went to the WWll memorial instead as if offered better, more diffused lighting conditions. We are looking forward to their DC wedding next Fall!
Fall Wedding in Loudoun County
Fall colors have officially arrived in Virginia, and it's our favorite time of year to capture weddings Congratulations to Maggie and Alec! We had a great time with them on Friday at Sylvanside Farm, Purcellville.
Manassas Battlefield Engagement Session
Loved this session with Jen and Dustin and we're looking forward to their big day in one year! Fun fact: These two SHARE the same birthday, and their wedding weekend next year will also be their birthday weekend. Talk about epic!
Newborn Session
This is the month of sessions!! We are fastening our seatbelts for all of the weddings and family sessions we will be capturing in October. On Friday I captured our lovely 2020 wedding couple’s newborn baby and he was sweet as can be. It was so great to see them in their exciting new role as parents.
Bristow Manor Wedding
Congratulations to Kathleen and Tony! The weather was perfect for their wedding and there were countless special moments - mainly in the form of some very impressive live musical performances and dances. We had such a great time capturing it all.

How infectiously cute and happy are Drew and Beth? We had a great time photographing their wedding at Meadowlark Gardens this weekend. SO many amazing moments. They had some of the most beautiful wedding details I've EVER seen.
Raspberry Plain Wedding (again!)
We were lucky enough to have back to back weddings this weekend at Raspberry Plain Manor. Kerry and Ryan had perfect weather for August, and an overall perfect day. We’re so happy they are finally married after postponing a year.

So happy for Nikki and James! They had their wedding part 2 this weekend, this time with all of their friends and family to celebrate. Raspberry Plain is such a great venue and it was great to return and work with some great vendors.
Renback Barn Wedding
Congratulations to Savannah and Jacob! Like so many weddings, the threat of rain created some stress followed by enormous relief when it held off - which pretty much makes our couples exponentially happier than if there was no threat at all! We got to do everything outside with the perfect mountain backdrop. The day was full of many amazing military and religious traditions.
Sunrise at the Lincoln Memorial
I met with Samantha and Jeff last week at sunrise on a super hot day, but luckily we beat most of the heat by starting early! I loved their outfits and their energy. They have chosen our Associate Photography package for next year’s wedding which is a package that’s definitely growing in popularity.
