Goodstone Inn Outdoor Wedding
A intimate poolside wedding in Virginia's horse country (Goodstone Inn, Middleburg), where the temperatures remained in the 70s most of the day, with a light breeze and full sun. What more could you ask for? It's crazy to say that our "Fall" i.e. second half of our 2025 wedding season has begun! Our talented team was busy this past weekend capturing several weddings and events, helping us kickstart what will be a fantastic season. Congratulations to Jennifer and Thomas! National Cathedral Engagement
It’s been years since I’ve been here so it was so nice to return to the Washington National Cathedral, on SUCH a beautiful May morning with this couple! Katie and Jabob are getting married next year at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna, and it was great getting to know them. I had a fun time with them exploring the vast grounds and taking some pretty magical photos for them to have as a forever keepsake.
Arlington Tent Wedding
Congrats to Madison, Pat, and BRADY!! Saturday could not have been better weather, and it's always so fun to explore new venues (Henry House, Arlington). Besides Madison (bride), and Brady (dog), we think the florals stole the show with those bold, Spring colors that caught everyone's eye.

Spring Wedding at Army Navy Club DC
There is nothing like Spring in DC. These two lucked out with warm weather, clear skies, and full blooms around the city! It was such a great weekend celebrating them - from the rehearsal dinner at the Hay Adams Hotel, to the wedding at Army Navy. Our team had three weddings on Saturday and they all went so well. Can’t wait to share more, and we’re so excited for all of our 2025 weddings!
Warmer Weather = Family Sessions
I feel like everyone is done with Winter 2025 and ready for Spring! This has meant our family sessions have really been picking up with people eager to get outside and capture fleeting phases of their lives. Did you know that we offer mini sessions such as this one pictured on most weekdays? These sessions last for 20-30 minutes and offer a $200 discount off of our regular session price. They are a no-brainer if you have little ones with limited attention spans :)

Snowy Engagement Session at Jefferson Memorial
Our coldest engagement session yet so starting off the session indoors at a coffee shop was a great idea! And on the plus side, there was not another soul out there at the Jefferson Memorial with us, and their husky sure was happy.
Snowy January Wedding
Megan and Andrew’s wedding was quintessentially January - frigid, snowy, and magical! They helped us kick off 2025 in the best way. Although the unexpected snowstorm presented some challenges, we convinced them that the outdoor photos would be SO worth it. They thanked us so enthusiastically later in the day, letting us know how grateful they were that we gave them that nudge to go outside!! Just look at the magical snow photos we got - all during their first look. A moment they will never forget now. Happy New Year, everyone. We are so excited for 2025!

Great Marsh Estate did not disappoint! And we look forward to returning to this very same venue in a year for this couple's wedding! We have been so thankful for some dry, sunny, mild weather these past couple weeks after all the constant rain.

And how cool is it that Nate (groom) surprised his bride with dozens and dozens of her students at the ceremony?? It was the sweetest moment.
